Students and staffers at Garlough Environmental Magnet School in West St. Paul are trying to help their teacher find a rescue dog who ran away from home Monday.
A nine-month-old Puggle, a mixed breed of pug and beagle, was stolen from the Animal Humane Society on 1000 block of Beulah Lane in St. Paul Saturday afternoon.
The puppy named "JoJo" was taken from a holding room where he was being treated for Kennel Cough, a condition that is contagious to other dogs.
The dog is tan with white on his chest and weighs about 24 pounds.
