Junior League of Minneapolis Presents American Girl Fashion Show® This Weekend

Twin Cities girls will walk the runway in historical and contemporary fashions from the American Girl® line of dolls in the 12th annual American Girl Fashion Show® presented by the Junior League of Minneapolis. Shows are Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway in Minneapolis.

Junior League of Minneapolis Hosts American Girl Fashion Show®; Models Wanted

The Junior League of Minneapolis will host the 12th annual American Girl Fashion Show® March 8, 9, and 10 at the Capri Theater in Minneapolis. The annual event showcases Twin Cities girls modeling both historical and contemporary fashions from the American Girl® doll and clothing line. Girls will walk the runway with dolls in matching clothing.

We're all looking for freebies these days.  Did you know, that this Saturday, September 29th, museums nationwide will open their doors for free?  It's part of Smithsonian magazine's Museum Day Live!

Museum-goers can download free tickets on the Smithsonian website, which grants free admission for 2 people.

WaterFest 2012 Features Lakeside Fun June 2

Families from around the Twin Cities are invited to attend WaterFest 2012, a free family festival featuring a day of lakeside fun.

WaterFest runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Phalen Lake Park, north of Phalen Drive and Wheelock Parkway in St. Paul.

Auctioning Off Fun, and Toys

Minnesota auctioneers are teaming up with the Gillette Children’s Hospital to bring these kids an auction they’ll never forget. 

On Wednesday, October 19 the Minnesota State Auctioneers Association is conducting a toy auction and party at the Gillette Children’s Hospital in St. Paul.

The event kicks off at 2 p.m. with toy shopping at the Toys R Us in Maplewood.
