1 Killed, 1 Injured in St. Paul Stabbing | Crime

A St. Paul man is in jail for allegedly fatally stabbing an acquaintance and seriously injuring his wife.

Forty-eight-year-old Pah Ber was arrested around 7 a.m. Saturday after St. Paul police were called to an apartment in the 1400 block of Farrington Street.

There officers found a 40-year-old Albert Lea man who was critically injured with stab wounds; he died at the scene.

A second victim, a woman, was taken to Regions Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say Ber and the woman are married, and the 40-year-old man was an acquaintance of the couple.

Ber was arrested at the scene. Investigators expect to present the case to the Ramsey County for consideration of criminal charges.
